In continuation of <home between homes> project, <Living Together> attempts to explore social aspect of home. The participants on the performance were asked to hold each vertex of the fabric and walk around the parade ground while trying to maintain the cube shape. This requires them to walk in same distance away from each other and keep the consistent speed.
The performance suggests contemplation on what it’s like to live together metaphorically. Then the video is intervally interrupted by the footages of my mom’s family who are living together as sort of a ‘team’ and learning a new way of coexisting to support grandma through her dementia.
