We are a multidisciplinary duo "Year of the House" working with bridging and expanding two different but resonant artistic practices, as well as  different East Asian cultural backgrounds. Our works navigate exploring these disparate yet overlapping terrains through layering material installation, acts of ritual and labor, film, projection, sound and performance. The works mainly deal with themes of ritual, domesticity, displacement, decoloniality and East Asian identity in the diaspora. Our methodologies encompass ecological thought, and materiality which have a deep relationship to the elements and natural materials.
