Being put in the plant pots, plants have gained mobility to stand anywhere around the city even where there aren’t any soils or suitable land to spread their roots. Humans use them as kind of a fence to mark borders between driveway and sidewalk, no-parking area, or to provide lively attribute to newly opened stores. These plant pots are like ghosts wandering around the streets with their original functions removed: just being plants themselves.

I took pictures of these kinds of plant pots, printed it with inkjet printer, scratched out the pots, and then scanned the papers once again to make them into digital files. These steps allow images I captured to experience similar process that actual plant pots went through, transforming into various forms.
